Team Leader
Tasman Bay Food Co is a niche company who are trusted leaders in the manufacture and sale of unique, innovative food products and brands to customers worldwide. Pioneering in the food industry Tasman Bay has won many awards both nationally and internationally for product, innovation and exporting.
A diverse & challenging role is available to support the production manager to lead the production team. The key purpose of this role is to work with the factory team to ensure the factory is run efficiently against the production plan and that all products meet customer specifications. In addition to this the focus is on building a great team, excellent food safety, H&S, and a continuous improvement culture.
A great candidate for this role will be someone who has proven success in leading a busy team. They will have excellent problem solving and decision- making skills and be accountable. We would love an amazingly positive, organised multi- tasker with a high level of integrity.

Speedway Sauce & Blending Operator
Do you love Juicies and Speedway Sauce as much as we do? Would you like to help us make these iconic products?
To be a blender you need to be physically strong as you will need to lift up to 25kgs though a lot of ingredients are pumped. But being a big burly type is not enough - you also need the smarts to follow a recipe, calculate quantities needed and follow written procedures. Experience in the food manufacturing industry would be ideal but is not essential.
We are looking for applicants who:
- Are physically strong and capable of heavy lifting
- Have the ability to follow a recipe
- Have good maths ability
- Are comfortable using machinery with trouble shooting skills (we have an onsite engineer to help)
- May have their forklift licence (not essential but certainly helpful).
- Can problem solve and think on their feet

We are based in Brightwater, Nelson Tasman (7km south of Richmond).
What can you expect if you work at Tasman Bay Food Co. in a factory role?
We have a team of around 20-30 people working across our two main factories. We operate two fruit presses, a bakery, a sauce plant, juice blending and two Juicies lines. We have a small dairy plant and pop line to make our Dr. Feelgood Frozen Pops. We manufacture thousands of products daily across 11 production areas.
With a strong focus on food safety & quality management, we expect a high standard of hygiene.
